Welcome!

After teaching in the public school system for 14 years, I needed a change. Education had changed, but also, my family had changed. I was seeing my daughter for maybe a few hours at night, then it was wake up, rat race of work, pick up at 5pm or 6pm, then dinner and bed! I wanted MORE!

By the time my second child was born, both my husband and I knew we wanted MORE TIME WITH OUR KIDS. He started his own business in the cabinet industry (email for more info), and I went to part time work to be able to concentrate on my passion – traveling with my family. We are hoping this blog inspires you to travel with yours as well. It’s the BEST!
